I believe that babies are aware human beings who deserve respect, tenderness and warmth and above all a listeing heart. When we listen to our infants with our hearts we discover whatever it is that we want to know.

What is a CEIM?

CEIM stands for Certified Educator of Infant Massage. As such you  will be able to work with parents and families, teaching parents the art of using nurturing touch and infant massage in order to promote communication and bonding within the family.
Being a CEIM does NOT certify you to massage the babies!
You will be able to work with families in private, group, hospital and agency settings. In addition to educating parents, you will be able to participate in research studies, conduct in-service programs, and present at professional conferences.

Certification Process:

Step 1.
Attend a four day training  (you must be present for the whole training)

Step 2.
Finish and email your assignment that consists of:
- A written, open book, at home test
-Reading one book and one scientific study paper and writing a one paragraph report for each
-Teaching 5 families the full infant massage course (five classes with each family, in a group or individually)
-Writing a self evaluation report

After receiving your assignment I will be issuing you (by mail) your certificate and the IMUSA office is in charge of the CEUs (if applicable).
The best news is - your certificate NEVER EXPIRES!

I plan to offer infant massage as a way to help parents attach and bond with their infants in an underserved population where I work.
Marija’s energy and passion are contagious!
I plan to educate new parents and existing clients to promote nurturing touch, giving and gaining consent, listening to baby's cues to empower parents and equip them with tools and techniques that they can utilize while communicating and bonding with their children.
You are a parent or a professional - these are the platforms available to connect.
